    Retention Originates at Orientation

    Please welcome Duane Salonen, President and Certified Instructor for Dale Carnegie.

    You don’t want to miss this oneDuane will present on one of HR’s most pressing issues… Retention in the workplace.

    He will focus on tips to boost our awareness of how your workplace culture and your orientation program relates to employee retention. Everyone wants to ensure all the time and effort we put into new employees will pay off in the end.   Duane will share his expertise in this area and offer solutions to keep those new employees satisfied and engaged.

    In addition, we will distribute our annual Programming Survey that asks you, the member what suggestions and/or topics you would like to see offered in our upcoming 2014 monthly meetings. 

     

    Presenter:   Duane Salonen, a graduate from Dakota State University, began his career as a High School teacher and coach in Nebraska in 1974.  Then in 1979 he started with Dale Carnegie as a vocational instructor.  The next few years he progressed into an Area Manager and then a franchise owner of the SD area, including parts of Wyoming, Iowa and Nebraska.  Duane has presented to audiences of all types of companies and organizations over the past 29 years.   He and his company have earned numerous awards throughout his tenure, including Chairman of the Board award, the Presidents club award and the Founders Club award.
